RULES FOR ACCESSING AND USING THE FACILITY “REGULATION” (IL01PSE Rev. 08)

1. PREAMBLE

These Regulations govern entry and permanence in the MISANO WORLD CIRCUIT MARCO SIMONCELLI (Circuit). Everyone is required to comply with them and make sure they are complied with. Failure to comply with the provisions indicated in the Regulations may result in the removal of offenders from the Circuit and/or a claim for compensation, for any damage suffered by the Circuit, to those directly concerned and/or their insurance cover, relieving the Circuit of any liability resulting from non-compliance with the Provisions of the Regulations. Any exceptions may be granted by Santa Monica S.p.A. (the company that manages the Circuit) subject to any authorization from the competent Authorities or Bodies. In addition to what is stated in these Regulations, the SPORTS RULES issued by the car and motorbike federations (FIM-FMI, ACI-FIA) are valid. The Regulations will be displayed at various points of the Circuit and will be available for viewing on the Official Website of the Circuit www.misanocircuit.com.

2. OPENING HOURS

The opening hours of the gatekeeper’s office at the entrance to the circuit is from 7.30 a.m. to 7.30. p.m.
During events, these times may change.
Access to the circuit is through the main entrance in Via D. Kato, 10.
During particular events, access may be through the “old” entrance in Via Del Carro, 27, and the other entrances of the circuit.

3. ACCESS AND CIRCULATION IN THE CIRCUIT

Access to the Circuit for people and vehicles is subject to the observance of the prescriptions and times established by Santa Monica S.p.A. or, in the case of events, of the programmes and particular regulations of the same, as well as the presentation of the access pass or the payment of the public entrance fees.

Unaccompanied minors under the age of 14 are not allowed in.

Parking vehicles inside the circuit after closing time is forbidden, except for specific events during which such parking will be authorized by Santa Monica S.p.A.
The parking of vehicles must not in any way be an obstacle to the internal circulation of the circuit. Inside the Paddock and on internal roads, the rules contained in the current Italian Highway Code apply and traffic moves without any responsibility on the part of Santa Monica S.p.A. Inside the Circuit vehicles must proceed at a moderate speed, and in any case appropriate to the conditions of the terrain, traffic, visibility, the possible presence of pedestrians, etc. In case of crowds, proceed at walking pace. Always scrupulously abide by the horizontal and vertical signs. Drivers should pay attention to the speed bollards located inside the circuit. It is absolutely forbidden to use the paddock areas and service roads for motorcycle and/or car testing, unless the areas are designed for such use. It is forbidden to drive vehicles or motorcycles, even in the Paddock areas unless qualified to do so. All service vehicles used for transporting and handling goods (trucks, vans, forklifts, etc.) must proceed with the utmost care, assisted, during the manoeuvers, by staff “on the ground”. Operators of forklifts or other lifting equipment must have the appropriate authorization (Legislative Decree 81/2008). Such equipment must be equipped with statutory signalling devices (optical-acoustic). It is absolutely forbidden to park any type of vehicle in the driveways, accesses to stairs and lifts, fire hydrants, emergency exits, near intersections and service areas (medical centre, electrical cabins, toilets).

In case of non-observance of the above provisions, Santa Monica Spa may remove the vehicle from the circuit, at the risk and expense of its owner and the holder of access authorization.

4. OBLIGATIONS - REQUIREMENTS - PROHIBITIONS

Those who access the circuit are obliged to maintain a civil attitude in respect of the goods and equipment of both Santa Monica and third parties present within the circuit and to observe the instructions given by Santa Monica Spa at the entrance and inside the circuit with appropriate signs, with written notices, as well as through the service personnel of Santa Monica S.p.A. and by any other means, with the specification that the instructions given by the service personnel prevail over other notices.

It is forbidden to bring dogs and animals of any kind into the circuit, except for dogs serving people with disabilities and the police.
It is also forbidden to:
• pierce, insert nails and/or screws into the walls, ceilings, floor, columns and any other internal and external surfaces of the circuit;
• apply loads to structures, walls, light poles, including lightweight posters, cables, panels, banners;
• cover the floors, walls and equipment owned by Santa Monica Spa with paint, glue or other materials, as well as to affix adhesives to the same;
• excavate or modify the area layout;
• introduce explosive, detonating, asphyxiating and in any case hazardous materials into the racetrack, without the necessary authorizations from the competent authorities and any prior authorization from Santa Monica S.p.A.;
• introduce and use, without authorization from Santa Monica S.p.A., LPG, gas or methane cylinders;
• accumulate waste material: this must be removed from time to time as it is discarded;
• abandon part of the fittings or residues of any kind in the racetrack.
Any exceptions to the above prohibitions must be issued in writing by Santa Monica S.p.A., Santa Monica has the right to supplement and cancel the previous provisions, and to derogate from them, giving notice in the manner deemed most appropriate. Failure to comply with the obligations set forth in these regulations may result in the withdrawal of the entry documents and the immediate removal from the circuit of the persons responsible, as well as – in the case of Sellers or their collaborators – the temporary or permanent closure of the stand.

5. RACE TRACKS

5.1. Geometric characteristics

The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli features the following tracks:
• INTERNATIONAL TRACK

5.2 Homologations

    5.3 Authorised vehicles

    The following vehicles may access the racetrack:
    • For sports CAR events of a more or less competitive nature, performance of sports, technical and other trials, the max number of vehicles which may enter the track is that indicated on the applicable track homologation report issued by FIA/ACI SPORT.
    • For sports BIKE events of a more or less competitive nature, performance of sports, technical and other trials, the max number of vehicles which may enter the track is that indicated on the applicable track homologation report issued by FIM/FMI.
    • For tourist CAR/BIKE circulation, private tests and free trials, the max number of vehicles which may enter the track is that indicated by the national and international homologations of the competent federations.

    6. COMMON RACETRACK REGULATIONS

    6.1 Common rules

    Vehicles shall only be allowed to enter the track after the driver has handed over a valid access permit and received the authorization of the track officer. Entrance to the track is subject to the signing of the Assumption of Responsibility Document specific to the type of activity that takes place and the presentation of a document as indicated below. Access to the track of ADULT drivers is subject to the following provisions:
    • Entrance is allowed to adult drivers with a valid driving license. Driving licenses must be original and photocopies are not accepted.
    • entry is allowed to adult drivers with a driver’s permit, a loss of license report and a document proving the renewal of the current driving license. The documentation must always be in original. In this case, the driver must present a valid identity document.
    • only and exclusively for the PRE-RACE tests, entry is allowed to drivers over 18 years of age with a sports license valid for the current year, issued by the competent sports authority (FIM-FMI, ACI-FIA).

    For the access of MINOR drivers to the track, see paragraph 8.

    Motorcyclists are required to enter the track with a helmet, leather suit, gloves and boots.
    Car drivers are obliged to enter the track wearing helmets and to fasten their seat belts.

    The motorcycles that enter the track must be of a homogeneous type (e.g.: sports bikes with sports bikes, vintage bikes with vintage bikes, supermotard bikes with supermotard on the track tests …). Motorcycles must not have plate, luggage racks, cases or other similar equipment, except for parades or similar activities. The mirrors, rear and front lights and direction indicators must be secured with suitable tape (e.g. American tape). The use of any type of video recording equipment (camera car) is prohibited. All motorcycles and cars must be equipped with a legally road compliant exhaust system. The person in charge of the track has the authority to exclude from the tests any vehicles that produce excessive noise or with non-road standard exhaust systems. Drivers are forbidden to give their vehicle, for use on the track, to unauthorized persons or to persons who have not signed the “Assumption of responsibility form” relating to the specific service. If the drivers fail to comply with this provision, they shall be liable for civil, administrative and criminal penalties resulting from non-compliance with this prohibition. It is absolutely forbidden to give access passes (badge/transponder, bracelet, vignette, ticket, etc.) to third parties, even for partial use. If the drivers fail to comply with this provision, they shall be liable for civil, administrative and criminal penalties resulting from non-compliance. In addition, the Santa Monica S.p.A. employee is authorized to withdraw the access pass (badge/transponder, bracelet, stamp, ticket, etc.) and to refuse entry to any driver who has not complied with this prohibition. The cost of any damage caused by the user to the track, to the facilities and/or to third parties must be refunded by the user to Santa Monica S.p.A. and/or directly to the injured parties.
    Passengers are not allowed in track vehicles. Passengers may be present in the vehicles only if previously agreed with Santa Monica S.p.A. and after having taken out specific insurance policies. Professional drivers are not allowed on the track during free practice.

    Competitions and betting are prohibited.

    Drivers are required to strictly comply with the instructions of the personnel present (track operators, track entrance operators, etc.). Failure by the driver to comply with the instructions given by the staff present and the provisions contained in these regulations will result in the driver being required to leave the track and the facility. Each driver, during the activity on the track, is required to observe a correct, loyal and responsible behaviour towards the other drivers. In addition, he/she is required to comply immediately with the instructions given by the staff of the track through the display of flags for signalling on the track.

    Furthermore, 18 LED panels are installed along the whole international racetrack, directly linked to the Race Direction, and also an Info Panel and Starting Light are settled to the starting bridge.

    Drivers must be able to recognize the signs given by the flags; in particular:

    Yellow flag: slow down! Danger! Don’t overtake!
    Danger signal, displayed in the area ahead of the danger zone.
    Red flag: immediate end of practice with low speed return to the pits.
    Session suspended, immediately slow down and enter the pit lane. Also Info Panel on finish line showing «Session Suspended» and red lights on.
    Yellow flag with red stripes: deterioration of grip due to the presence of oil or water on the track.
    Danger signal, displayed in the area ahead of the danger zone.
    Meaning loss of grip on track, rain on track, presence of obstacles on track.
    Green flag: previously flagged hazard removed; track clear.
    Green light, also displayed to indicate the end of danger zone.
    Blue flag: a driver who is about to be overtaken by a driver with higher speed.
    White flag: presence of a service vehicle on the track (ambulance, fire-fighting, etc.)
    Chequered flag: stop at the end of the lap.
    Session ended, slow down and enter the Pit lane. Displayed on the Info Panel of the starting line only.

    Other flags are treated into the regulation by relative Federations.
    In any case, drivers are required to participate in the pre-activity briefing held by the organisers, who have the obligation to show the video-tutorial produced by Santa Monica Spa regarding the rules of conduct for the use of the International Track. Participants in the Santa Monica free practice must view the video tutorial during the registration phase of the same. The video is available on the website www.misanocircuit.com.

    6.2 Sporting activities

    Sporting activities such as competitions and races are forbidden unless agreed with Santa Monica S.p.A. For the competitions, the homologations already mentioned of which the circuit is in possession and the rules indicated by the National and International Sporting Code (FIM-FMI, ACI-FIA) are valid.

    6.3 Health service

    The activity on the track must always be carried out with the provision of an adequate health service that, depending on the type of activity, must be agreed with the Health Director of the “Ambulatorio Santa Monica”, in order to protect the safety of participants in the tests and allow timely intervention in the event of an accident.

    7. FREE PRACTICE SESSIONS AND TIMED FREE PRACTIC SESSIONS

    Free practice sessions are training sessions on speed circuits with FIM homologation valid for the current year. Times
    may also be measured.
    Free practice sessions may be organized by:
    – Motorcycle clubs affiliated to the Italian Motorcycle Federation
    – Clubs in possession of IMF Organiser License for the current year.
    In order to benefit from IMF insurance coverage, participants must be in possession of an FIM License or a Sport Card
    valid for the current year and may participate with registered road bikes, either standard or prototypes.

    The regulations for free practice sessions without time recording are as follows:
    – registered participants are divided into shifts and organized by number and duration;
    – in each shift, a maximum number allowed for official practice sessions can take part;
    – there are no parc ferné procedures and technical checks at the end of the event.

    The regulations for free practice sessions with time recording are as follows:
    – registered participants are divided into shifts and organized by number and duration;
    – in each shift, a maximum number allowed for official practice sessions can take part;
    – participants, equipped with transponders provided by the organizer for timing, enter the track from the pit lane; no starting grid start procedure is possible; collective starting from the pit lane is allowed, but with a maximum of three riders per row and with rows marked with letters. The composition and sequence of the participants in the rows can be defined in chronological order;
    – the results of the timed runs can be distributed to the participants in paper or electronic form at the end of the single shift or of the day, provided that they are in a list organized in alphabetical order and not by time and chronological order;
    – the results of the timed runs by order of time can be used by the organizer for the formation of any further subdivision into shifts of participants;
    – no parc fermé (closed park) procedures and technical checks are envisaged at the end of the event;
    – the results of the timed runs cannot be subject to complaint procedures by the participants;
    – there are no rankings;
    – there are no awards.

    8. UNDERAGE RIDERS

    The following provisions concern motorsport activities carried out on all the tracks and areas of the circuit.

    8.1 Prove libere stradali Santa Monica

    MOTORBIKES
    Access to the track by underage drivers is subject to the following provisions and conditions:
    • possession of an A licence or driver’s permit;
    • use exclusively limited to one 125 cc motorcycle with plate;
    • indispensable presence of parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must sign the declaration of assumption of responsibility for entering the track;
    • the parent must show his or her identity document;
    • no kind of delegation is accepted in place of the presence of the parent.
    Entrance onto the track is allowed only in dedicated shifts.

    CARS
    Underage drivers are not allowed on the track.

    Free amateur practice, time trials, tests organised by third parties, commercial exclusives

    MOTORBIKE
    Minors may participate in the activities defined above subject to the following provisions and conditions:
    • dedicated shifts and motorcycles with homogeneous characteristics;
    • possession of an A licence or driver’s permit or licence depending on the type of activity carried out;
    • The presence is essential of a federal technician who must sign for entry onto the track;
    • The federal technician must show his/her identity document and licence;

    CARS
    Underage drivers may only enter the track in accordance with the FIA Regulations, ACI regulations or other Federation
    regulations recognised by the FIA.

    8.3 Pre-race tests

    Minors can participate in the pre-competition tests only if the practice runs are provided for in the Supplementary Regulations, approved by the respective National and International Federations. Minors must also present a sports licence valid for the current year, issued by the competent sports authority.

    9. DRIVERS WITH DISABILITIES

    The use of the tracks and areas of the Circuit for disabled drivers is allowed and regulated by the competent Federations after prior notice to the Circuit Management.

    10. ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE INTERNATIONAL TRACK

    10.1 Vehicles authorised to enter the international track

    MOTORBIKES
    The following vehicles are authorised at the time of drawing up these regulations, which are based on valid federal approvals and which can therefore be subsequently updated after prior notification:
    – all road motorcycles (see exceptions) including naked bikes
    – All super sports bikes
    The following are not allowed on the international circuit:
    – off-road motorcycles categorised by cross, Enduro and trial
    – Gran Cruiser motorcycles.
    – special custom. bikes.

    CARS / TRUCKS
    At the time of drawing up these regulations, the vehicles provided for by the valid federal approvals are authorised.

    10.2 Use of the international track for road and amateur free practice, time trials, tests

    For the procedures of access to the FREE PRACTICE refer to the Official Website of the Circuit www.misanocircuit.com.
    Vehicles on the International Circuit must circulate clockwise.

    IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN FOR NON-PROFESSIONALS AND CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS OF AGE TO ENTER THE PIT LANE.
    Smoking and the use of naked flames are strictly forbidden inside the pits. It is absolutely forbidden to store flammable materials (petrol) inside the pits. The methods and quantities of vehicles admitted to the track at the same time are established by Santa Monica S.p.A.; in the case of competitions, by the competent sporting authority. Drivers are required to strictly comply with the instructions of the staff present (track attendant, track entrance attendant, etc.). Failure by the driver to comply with the instructions given by the staff and the provisions contained in these regulations will result in the driver being required to leave the track and the facility. Each driver, during the activity on the track, is required to observe a fair and responsible behaviour towards the other drivers. He/she is also required to comply immediately with the instructions given by the track personnel and with the articles contained in these regulations displayed inside the facility. The drivers of the motorcycles/cars participating in the track tests must maintain a regular driving behaviour avoiding sudden manoeuvers that could compromise the safety while driving, of other track users. For example, the following are absolutely forbidden:
    • reversing the direction of travel,
    • proceeding with zigzag manoeuvers,
    • suddenly slowing down without any particular serious reason,
    • suddenly occupying the trajectory lines at “low speed”, inappropriate for the type of tests in progress,
    • carrying out manoeuvers that produce the “soaring” of the motorcycle,
    • stopping the vehicle on the track. In the event of a forced stop, the driver must immediately move to a safe area and wait for the arrival of the service personnel.

    The drivers of the motorcycles/cars, at the time of their entry onto the track, must move in front of the pit exit at moderate speed and, at the time of their entry onto the track, must use the path marked with white lines on the asphalt independently verifying whether the time of entry affects the safety of other users present on the track at that point, at that time.
    Drivers, if they intend to go back to the pits, are obliged to signal their intention to the drivers who follow them. The track officer, at his sole discretion, having verified the need, can refuse permission to enter the track to a driver. The track officer, at his sole discretion, having verified the need, may suspend at any time the tests in progress. If the drivers are involved in an accident, they must immediately notify the staff of Santa Monica S.p.A.; in case of personal impossibility, as far as possible, they must delegate another person. If a driver notices any anomaly on the circuit and/or accident, he/she shall be required to report this immediately to the staff of Santa Monica S.p.A. In the case of a wet track, the staff member may only allow entry to cars or motorcycles with “rain” tires. The Track Officer, at his sole discretion, for safety reasons, may temporarily suspend or permanently cancel the Practice.

    During the free practice of cars, only road cars WITH LICENCE PLATES are allowed on the track.
    During the free road tests of motorcycles, vintage motorcycles are not allowed on the track except in dedicated laps.

    10.3 During the competitions the rules indicated by the National and International Sporting Code (FIM-FMI, ACI-FIA) are valid.

    11. ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE TEST TRACK

    11.1 Vehicles authorised to enter the test track

    The following vehicles are authorised at the time of drawing up these regulations, which are based on valid federal approvals and which can therefore be subsequently updated after prior notification:
    a) karts for hire activities;
    b) motorbikes for training activities:
    • superbikes
    • scooters – excluding maxi class
    • mini GP bikes – all classes
    • pit bikes – all classes
    • ohvale bikes – all classes
    • mini motorbikes
    c) road cars for the driving school

    11.2 Use of the test track for non-competitive amateur on-road free practice

    Access to the RACETRACK, in order reach the TEST TRACK, is subject to compliance with the limitations and timetable established by the manager and in any case, in compliance with Santa Monica, and defined in the general contract. Access to anyone under 14 years of age is forbidden, unless accompanied by an adult.
    DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE TEST TRACK, with the exception of guide dogs for the disabled and police dogs.
    Without exception, all vehicles that access the TEST TRACK must be driven slowly; it is strictly forbidden to use the paddock areas and service routes for motorbike and/or car tests, unless the areas have been set up for such use and it has been opportunely agreed. Failure to comply with this provision will imply immediate expulsion from the TEST TRACK and the RACETRACK.
    The Highway Code currently applicable in Italy also applies on the roads inside the facility and Santa Monica S.p.A. is not in any way responsible for circulation.

    Motorbike riders must wear a helmet, full leathers, gloves and boots before entering the track. Kart drivers must wear a helmet and fasten safety belt before entering the track (if existing).
    Driving school car drivers must comply with all the indications given by instructors. Any motorbikes entering the track must be of a type that complies with the regulations issued by the relevant federations. Karts entering the track must be of a type compliant in terms of power and cylinder capacity. All drivers entering the track must have comparable driving skills and experience in motoring events. Motorbikes and karts must be fitted with an exhaust system homologated for road circulation or a DB killer to reduce noise emissions. In the event of a wet track, authorised access may be limited to only bikes or karts fitted with “rain” tyres.
    Motorbikes must not be fitted with panniers, luggage carriers or any other similar equipment. Mirrors, headlights, taillights and indicators must be fixed properly so that they cannot become detached during activities on the track. Motorbikes must be ridden clockwise and, in any case, in line with the regulations issued by the relevant federations. Karts must also be driven clockwise. Inverting the direction of travel is forbidden.
    Motorbike riders and kart drivers taking part in track tests must ride/drive normally, avoiding sudden manoeuvres that could endanger the safety of other track users. Merely by way of example but without limitation, zig-zagging on the track, suddenly slowing down without a serious reason to do so and suddenly occupying “slow” trajectories unsuited to the type of test underway are strictly forbidden. Any manoeuvre that might cause a motorbike to do a “wheelie” is strictly forbidden. When entering the track, motorbike riders must travel slowly along the pit lane and when they enter the track, must use the lane with white marks on the asphalt, independently deciding if the moment they enter the track might endanger the other riders on it at that point. In the event of being forced to stop on the track, drivers/ riders must immediately move to a safe area and wait for the arrival of service staff. Passengers are not permitted on the motorbikes or karts. Betting and races not governed by the below regulations are also forbidden. ANY ACCESS TO THE PIT LANE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND ANYONE UNDER 14 YEARS OF AGE. In the pits, smoking and the use of naked flames are strictly forbidden. Storing flammable materials (petrol) in the pits is also strictly forbidden. Drivers and riders must comply with all instructions given by any personnel present (track marshals, track access operators, etc.). Failure to comply with the instructions given by the personnel present and the provisions of these regulations, will lead to the driver or rider being expelled from the track and the TEST TRACK.

    During track activities, all drivers and riders must behave correctly, honestly and responsibly towards others. They must also immediately comply with any instructions given by the flag signalling system on the track. During tests, if drivers or riders intend to return to the pit boxes, they must signal their intention to those following behind them. Having assessed the need to do so, at his own unquestionable judgement, the track director may refuse a driver or rider permission to enter the track. Having assessed the need to do so, at his own unquestionable judgement, the track director can suspend any tests underway at any time.

    11.3 Use of the test track during competitions

    During the competitions the rules indicated by the National and International Sporting Code (FIM-FMI, ACI-FIA) are valid.

    12. ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE FLAT TRACK - SPEEDWAY-AUTOCROSS TRACK

    12.1 Vehicles authorised to enter the flat track

    The following vehicles are authorised at the time of drawing up these regulations, which are based on valid federal approvals and which can therefore be subsequently updated after prior notification:
    Cars for the following activities:
    • TYPE A AUTOCROSS, DRIFTING, FORMULA CHALLENGE WITH TWO STARTS, FORMULA CHALLENGE WITH ONE START.

    Motorbikes for the following activities:
    • FLAT TRACK, FLAT TRACK TT, SPEEDWAY MOTORBIKES.

    Regulation by Federation and requirements of the Flat Track will set the number of simultaneous vehicles allowed on the race track.
    During races sporting Authorities will be able to decide the number of simultaneous vehicles allowed on the race track.

    12.2 Use of the flat track for non-competitive road and amateur free practice, time trials

    The drivers of the motorcycles participating in the flat track must maintain a regular driving behaviour avoiding sudden manoeuvres that could compromise the safety while driving, of other track users. For example, the following are absolutely forbidden:
    • reversing the direction of travel,
    • proceeding with zigzag manoeuvres,
    • suddenly slowing down without any particular serious reason,
    • suddenly occupying the trajectory lines at “low speed”, inappropriate for the type of tests in progress,
    • carrying out manoeuvres that produce the “soaring” of the motorcycle,
    • stopping the vehicle on the track. In the event of a forced stop, the driver must immediately move to a safe area and wait for the arrival of the service personnel.
    The drivers of the motorcycles, at the time of their entry onto the flat track, must move in front of the pit exit at moderate speed and, at the time of their entry onto the track, must use the specially set-up path, independently verifying whether the time of entry affects the safety of other users present on the flat track at that point, at that time.
    Drivers and riders are forbidden to give their vehicle for use on the track to anyone who has not been authorised or has not signed the “Assumption of Responsibility Form”. Any driver or rider who fails to comply with this provision shall be responsible for any civil, administrative or criminal sanction resulting from such failure to comply. It is strictly forbidden to give any third party a personal access pass (badge, transponder, wristband, sticker, ticket, etc.) even for partial use. Any driver or rider who does not comply with this provision shall be responsible for any civil, administrative or criminal sanction resulting from failure to comply. Furthermore, Santa Monica S.p.A. officials are authorised to withdraw access passes (badges, transponders, wristbands, stickers, tickets, etc.) and refuse entry to any driver or rider who should fail to comply with this provision. The cost of any damage caused by the user to the track, facilities and/or third parties must be reimbursed to Santa Monica S.p.A. and/or directly to the injured party.
    Racing competitions and betting are forbidden.
    Access to the areas adjacent to the FLAT track, such as for example, the paddock area, pit boxes, warehouses and offices is strictly forbidden to anyone under 14 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    In the pits, warehouses and offices the use of naked flames and the storage of containers of highly flammable materials, such as petrol or similar, are strictly forbidden.
    Drivers and riders must comply with any instructions given by any personnel present (track marshals, track entry operators, etc.). Failure of the driver or rider to comply with any personnel present and the provisions of these regulations shall lead to the driver or rider being expelled from the track and the facility. During activities on the track, drivers and riders must behave correctly, honestly and responsibly towards others. They must also immediately comply with any instructions given by track marshals and comply with the articles of these regulations, as displayed at the facility.

    Drivers, if they intend to go back to the pits are obliged to signal their intention to the drivers who follow them. The track officer, at his sole discretion, having verified the need, can refuse permission to enter the track to a driver. The track officer, at his sole discretion, having verified the need, may suspend at any time the tests in progress. If the drivers are involved in an accident, they must immediately notify the staff of Santa Monica S.p.A.; in case of personal impossibility, as far as possible, they must delegate another person. If a driver notices any anomaly on the circuit and/or accident, he/she shall be required to report this immediately to the staff of Santa Monica S.p.A.

    12.3 Structural features of the flat track – speedway – auto cross track

    FLAT track users must take note of the specific characteristics of the facility on which they are about to carry out their activity. In particular:
    • The road surface of the FLAT track is an inert sandy material with “LOW TRACTION”.
    • In order to avoid producing dusts that are harmful to activities, it is necessary to plan interruptions during the tests.
    • Given the structure of the FLAT track, in the event of accidents that require the intervention of the emergency and/or fire services to treat injured drivers or riders and/or any vehicles involved, it will be necessary to immediately interrupt activities in order to allow for the aforementioned actions to be carried out.
    • For “SPECIFIC REASONS AND/OR DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE” activities on the FLAT track may have to be temporarily or permanently suspended (e.g.: by way of example but without limitation, if the event of strong wind and/or in the absence of water supply, therefore, making it impossible to wet the track surface and prevent the dust produced by the activities underway interfering and endangering the activities on the international track with asphalt surface).

    12.4 Use of the flat track during competitions

    During the competitions the rules indicated by the National and International Sporting Code (FIM-FMI, ACI-FIA) are valid.

    13. ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE PADDOCK

    It is strictly forbidden to use the paddock areas and service roads for motorcycle and/or car tests, unless the areas have been set up for such use.
    In particular, the paddock can be used, if suitably set up, for educational activities (driving school, driving school courses, etc.), demonstrations and shows.
    Use of the paddock for such purposes must be agreed in advance and authorised by Santa Monica S.p.A. and if necessary, by the relevant authorities.

    14. ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE UNTARMACKED CAR PARK (P2)

    It is strictly forbidden to use the external car parks for motorcycle and/or car tests, unless the areas have been set up for such use.
    In particular, P2 untarmacked car par can be used, if suitably set up, for off-road educational activities, demonstrations and shows.
    Use of the P2 untarmacked car park for such purposes must be agreed in advance and authorised by Santa Monica S.p.A. and if necessary, by the relevant authorities.

    15. ACCESS AND USE OF THE TRACKS FOR NON-MOTOR SPORT ACTIVITIES

    Non-motor sports activities (incentives) or showbiz activities (concerts, shows…) organised inside the circuit will be subject to specific regulations.

    16. ACOUSTIC IMPACT

    The activity on the track must be carried out in compliance with the rules on noise emissions.
    The Direction of the Circuit reserves the right to carry out random checks on the vehicles present at each event, including those for which a special derogation will be requested.
    NO OPEN EXHAUSTS are allowed, with the exception of derogated activities and in any case in compliance with the sporting regulations of the relevant federations. A rider who is required to subject his motorcycle to a noise check (noise measurement) before, during or after an event must do so without delay and without leaving the designated test site with the motorcycle.
    Refusal or late presentation of the motorcycle to phonometric control is sanctioned by exclusion from the track. Road and/or sports cars must also comply with the relevant regulations.
    Santa Monica S.p.A. may suspend track activity at any time if the values measured by the external noise measurement units exceed the limits imposed.

    17. ACCESS FOR EXTERNAL ENTERPRISES

    All those companies which, for whatever reason, operate inside the circuit, are required to comply with current employment legislation with particular reference to employment relationships between the parties and to be in possession of all the authorizations necessary for the proper conduct of their business.
    Inside the circuit, the personnel of the companies and/or teams participating in the competitions, assigned to operational tasks, must always be able to be identified, and must display an identification card accompanied by a photograph, showing the identifying details of the worker and of the company for which he/she works (art. 26, paragraph 8 of Legislative Decree 81/2008).
    All companies which, for whatever reason, operate inside the circuit, are required to register on the SUPPLIERS’ portal of the circuit website, download the DUVRI (Single Document for Assessment of Risks of Interference) of the circuit and upload the following valid documents:
    – Chamber of Commerce registration
    – DURC (Single Document of Regular payments of social Contributions)
    – Self-certification of Technical-Professional qualification
    – Document assessing the specific risks for work carried out at the racetrack (or Security Plan or POS)
    – Third-party Civil Liability insurance policy
    In detail:

    – Carefully fill in all the fields
    – Download the DUVRI and the Self-Certification Form to be filled in and signed

    18. ACCESS OF WORKERS ONTO THE RACETRACK

    Only persons with prior authorisation may enter the racetrack.
    Before accessing the track, Personal Protection Equipment for the specific job to be done must be worn (highly visible clothing, ear protection, etc.). When inside the track, always carefully abide by the signs installed by Santa Monica S.p.A. for safety purposes.

    19. ACCESS TO THE TRACK FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS, VIDEO MAKERS AND THE PRESS

    The following rules govern access to the track during competitions and/or events that the press, photographers and video makers can enter. They are all asked to comply with them and to also ensure all their collaborators comply with them.
    Always follow the instructions by track Marshals. Disobedience will be not tolerate. Please report your claim to the Press Room of the circuit in case of dissatisfaction.
    Please feel free to get in contact with the Press Room for any need or question (about access to che pit-lane, podium area, parc fermè).

    19.1 Bibs

    Bibs MUST be worn. They MUST NOT BE hung on a belt and the number must always be clearly visible. Any backpacks or photographer’s vests must be worn under bibs. No other garment can be used on top of bibs. In the event of rain, bibs must be worn on top of any coats or jackets. More specifically, to gain access to service roads, all accredited photographers must have a numbered bib.

    19.2 Red zones

    It is compulsory for everyone to seek information about the existence of any out-of-bounds areas (red zones). These will be indicated on the map available from the Press Room. Anyone found in these areas may be asked to leave the racetrack, jeopardising the issue of any future access passes. Even if an area is not officially classified as a Red Zone, it is always opportune to personally assess any possible risks. Test Directors or Race Directors can add a red zone at any time if they feel that a place is not safe. A warning in this respect will be posted on the noticeboard in the Media Centre. As well as the Red Zones at the sides of the track, photographers and television crews are not authorised to enter, photograph and/or film near the Medical Centre.

    19.3 Conduct in the event of an accident

    In the event of a serious accident, all members of the media are reminded that no type of image should be made public and that any shot that could be useful for assessing the circumstances of the accident is kindly asked to inform the racetrack press officer and to make them available for inquiries. For obvious reasons, photographs or filming of people involved in accidents is strictly forbidden and it is obligatory to promptly allow emergency vehicles and personnel to work without hindering them in any way.

    19.4 Trackside work

    IT IS COMPULSORY FOR THERE TO ALWAYS BE A BARRIER BETWEEN YOU AND THE TRACK WHEN THERE IS ANY FORM OF ACTIVITY ON THE TRACK.
    Leaning on the barriers is forbidden. It is also forbidden to step beyond these barriers or even to lean video cameras or photographic cameras on them. It is also forbidden to stand in the openings between barriers. Standing in front of the anti-debris barriers without specific authorisation.
    ALWAYS pay utmost attention to what surrounds you and what is happening around you when wearing earplugs.
    Radio: if wearing headphones to listen to radio conversations, only use one side of the headphones, not both.
    The use of iPods or MP3 players is forbidden when working trackside. Crossing the track is also forbidden.

    19.5 Pit lane

    The pit lane is a work area and may be dangerous. Depending on the type of event, access to the pit lane may be governed differently. Check with the track manager for details. Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times. NO TYPE OF TRIPOD IS PERMITTED IN THE PIT LANE. Use of monopods is permitted.

    19.6 Service roads

    It is strictly forbidden to leave any backpacks on the ground or to park scooters on service roads, which must always be kept clear: these are routes for emergency vehicles. Access to service roads can be on foot, bicycle or max. 125C scooters (except proper different regulation). If scooters are used on the external service road, note that it is one way only. Access is from the heliport area.
    It can also be accessed on foot from the gate under Stand A. Access to the internal service road is from the underpass at the end of the pit box building. Any tripods used must not obstacle the service roads in any way.

    20. SETTING UP AND DISMANTLING EVENTS

    In the event of the event Organizer directly and/or indirectly providing for the setting up of stands, gazebos, raised structures, complex structures, etc., required for the event itself, all technical documentation relating to such setting up must send to the Technical Office of Santa Monica S.p.A. at least 10 days before the start of the event. In the event of the Organizer intending to have such stands set up by third parties, or in any case intending to use its suppliers, it must inform the Technical Office Manager of Santa Monica S.p.A. of the names of the companies appointed within the above deadline.

    Before the start of the event, therefore, the Organizer who commissioned the fittings (stands, gazebos, raised structures, etc.) must provide the Technical Office Manager with the following documentation:
    • Calculation report stamped and signed by a qualified professional relating to all the assembled structures
    • Test certificate stamped and signed by a qualified professional other than the previous one
    • Declaration of supply and correct assembly by the installer
    or:
    • Certificate of static suitability, of correspondence to the project and correct assembly drawn up by a professional person registered with the Association of Engineers or Architects who has not intervened, for the specific structure, at any stage of design, works management and execution of the work
    and also:
    • Suspended load report (stamped and signed by a licensed professional) if any
    • Class of reaction to fire (certificate of fireproofing) of roofs and any floors or platforms
    • Certification (with indication of load capacity) of chains and hooks for the connection of any ballasts
    • Declaration of conformity of the electrical system pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 37/08 issued by the installer (electrician who prepares the electrical system of the stand).
    • Declaration of conformity of the GAS system (system for connecting kitchen appliances to cylinders) issued by the installer (plumber who makes the connections).

    For outdoor installations, it is necessary to declare the effects produced by atmospheric conditions; in particular, the measures to be taken for anchoring to the ground (ballasts or other) must be indicated; the maximum wind speed which the structure can withstand without danger of collapse or subsidence and the procedures to be adopted in the event of exceeding the design loads must also be declared. In addition, it is necessary to verify that the stand fitter, gazebos, etc. has ballasted the assembled structures as provided for in the calculation reports. Any loads applied to the truss structures (lighting fixtures, loudspeakers, etc.) must be secured to them, in addition to their own ad hoc elements, also by additional fastening elements (wire ropes, ring chains) as a guarantee of safety in the event of failure of their fastening systems.

    The structures raised for aerial television filming to a height of more than 2 m must be provided on all sides towards the empty parapet so as to protect the operator (art.126, Leg. Decree 81/08) and equipped with suitable access ladders. Before the start of the event, a technician appointed by the circuit may verify compliance with the above requirements. The Organizer is responsible for all fittings and exonerates Santa Monica S.p.A. for any damage caused to itself and to third parties by fitting defects caused by design, construction or assembly errors. In the event of the fitter causing damage to the structures of the circuit during the set-up phase, Santa Monica reserves the right to suspend the same until the complete restoration at the expense of the offender. Each fitter must only set up within the area assigned to him or her.
    In particular, no spaces outside the areas assigned to them must be occupied. If this is not possible, the escape routes must be kept accessible and a check must be made to ensure that the temporary occupation of these areas does not constitute a danger for other workers.

    The dismantling of the event must take place without fail, unless otherwise prescribed, on the days and dates established by Santa Monica S.p.A. It is mandatory to return the areas used in the condition in which they were at the time of occupation (any waste of any kind left in the circuit will be disposed of at the expense of the Organizer) within the deadline set for clearance. The clearing operations must be carried out in full respect of the integrity of all the Circuit facilities. Due to the risks deriving from the presence of other people working in adjacent work areas or passing through the common areas, both during set-up and during dismantling, each fitter must clearly delimit his own work area and temporarily interrupt work if a worker or another unauthorised third party is present inside that area or in its immediate vicinity. Each company carrying out activities within the circuit must prepare a Safety Plan, in which the risks of the activities carried out are assessed and the relative prevention and protection measures are indicated, to be kept available for possible controls.

    20.1 Fire prevention regulations for installations

    All the material to be used for installations (walls, platforms, coverings, fabrics, curtains, carpets, etc.) must be incombustible, fireproof at origin, or fireproof in accordance with the standards listed below and subsequent amendments and supplements:
    Circular of the Ministry of the Interior no. 12 dated 17/05/1980
    Ministerial Decree dated 26/06/1984
    Ministerial Decree dated 06/03/1992

    In particular, stand materials must meet the following requirements:
    1. walls, curtains and ceilings must not exceed class 1;
    2. the materials used to make any ceilings must be approved in class 1 and tested on the ceiling or as non-drip curtains;
    3. floors must not exceed class 2;
    4. all fitting materials must be installed in strict accordance with the requirements of their type-approval certificate;
    5. fireproofing products must only be used on materials referred to in the ministerial or legally recognised laboratory test certificates;
    6. the materials that must be treated with fireproofing products must undergo treatment before they are introduced into the circuit and must be accompanied by a regular certificate showing:
    a) the business name of the user;
    b) the list of materials which have undergone fireproofing treatment;
    c) the date of fireproofing;
    d) the surface treated;
    e) the main characteristics of the product used;
    f) the personal details and signature of the person doing the job;
    7. all materials must be accompanied by test certificates attesting to their approval, as well as by official documentation proving their purchase;
    8. it is forbidden to use non-approved plastic materials, non-fireproof synthetic fibre fabrics, nitrocellulose and oil paints and varnishes, mats, screens, trellis, curtains made of thin strips of wood or similar, paper upholstery and all materials not accompanied by a regular type-approval certificate as described above.

    Each stand, gazebo and complex structure must be equipped with powder extinguishers with an extinguishing capacity of not less than 34A 233BC, and at the rate of 1 per 150 m2 of surface area. In addition, the fire extinguisher must be placed in a central position inside the stand. Fire extinguishers must be marked and indicated. In the event of non-compliance, Santa Monica S.p.A. will automatically take the measures it deems necessary to protect the safety of the participants in the Event. The Organizer shall also comply with any prescription that the Provincial Commission of Supervision deems necessary and in such case appropriate notice will be provided.

    20.2 Portal, arch and truss dimensions

    All temporary structures installed along the internal road network (including access gates) must ensure a free width of 3.5 m and a free height of 4 m for the transit of emergency vehicles.

    20.3 Assimilability to temporary or mobile construction sites (Ministerial Decree 22/07/2014)

    The Interministerial Decree of 22 July 2014 (GURI 8 August 2014), in implementation of art. 88, paragraph 2 bis of Legislative Decree 81/08, extended to trade fairs the regulations contained in Title IV of Legislative Decree 81/08 relating to temporary or mobile construction sites. Therefore, these regulations apply to all activities relating to the installation and dismantling of structures, tents or various works for temporary events, with the exception of:
    a) structures with a height of less than 6.50 m in relation to a stable floor;
    b) bi-planar installations with a floor plan projection area of less than 100 m2 on the upper floor;
    c) structurally independent marquees or temporary structures made from elements produced by a single manufacturer, assembled in accordance with the indications, configurations and maximum loads laid down therein, the overall height of which, including the roof elements directly connected to the supporting structure, does not exceed 8,50 m in relation to a stable floor. In these cases, however, the provisions contained in art. 26 of Legislative Decree 81/08 shall apply.

    21. SAFETY REGULATIONS

    Before starting its activities, the Event Organizer undertakes to read the general DUVRI (Single Document for the Assessment of Interference Risks pursuant to art. 26, Legislative Decree 81/2008 as amended and supplemented) of Santa Monica S.p.A. and to draw up the Event DUVRI. It also undertakes to inform its workers, but also suppliers, customers and any other third party acting on behalf of the Organizer, of the so-called “interference risks” and of the prevention and protection measures adopted and to be adopted, providing them with the Event DUVRI. Companies operating inside the racetrack must also prepare the Specific Risk Assessment Document for the work carried out within the racetrack (or the P.O.S. – Safety Operating Plan) in which the risk of the activities carried out as well as the prevention and protection measures adopted are assessed. This document must be kept available for the entire work phase within the area for possible controls by the competent authorities.

    For anyone operating inside the circuit, it is mandatory:
    • to strictly comply with the current regulations on workers’ health and safety, and in particular with the provisions of Legislative Decree 81/2008 as amended and supplemented;
    • to provide all employees with the personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary to ensure their safety during their stay at the racetrack;
    • to always display, in a visible way, the identification card with a photograph, containing the worker’s details and the indication of the company to which he/she belongs;

    • to use means and equipment suitable for the use for which they are intended, featuring the safety devices imposed by the regulations in force; means and equipment must be used by suitably trained and informed personnel;
    • to leave the hydrants and any other fire-fighting equipment, power supply points, telephone junction boxes, water wells and any other technical service clearly visible and ready for use;
    • to ensure passageways and driveways are always easily accessible;
    • to ensure the full usability of emergency exits, transit areas and escape routes, avoiding any encumbrance or protrusion that could prevent access to them.

    21.1 Fire prevention

    Smoking and the use of naked flames are strictly forbidden in closed rooms and inside the pit areas.

    It is absolutely forbidden to store flammable materials (petrol) inside the pit areas. Gasoline must be stored outside the pit area, in a shaded area.

    Inside the pit areas, petrol pouring and vehicle refuelling operations can only be carried out “in a closed cycle” (without dispersion of petrol vapours). During these operations, the pit shutters must remain open, at least on the track side. At the end of each day of each stage of set-up – event – disassembly and in any case before leaving the area the Operator must always:
    – disconnect the switches that are part of the electrical system;
    – leave all rooms accessible, including those used as office, meeting and storage rooms, for any inspections by the Security Service Officers.

    21.2 Hazardous substances

    It is forbidden to introduce explosive, detonating, asphyxiating, flammable, caustic or corrosive, poisonous or irritating and in any case dangerous materials into the circuit without the necessary authorisations from the competent authorities and any prior authorisation from Santa Monica S.p.A.
    Tanks containing dangerous and/or flammable liquid (also oil and fuel) must be placed upon proper “pools” as double security precaution in case of leaks.
    21.3 Compressed and liquefied gases

    The use of inert compressed technical gases (nitrogen, argon, CO2, etc.) is permitted inside the pits under the following conditions:
    – cylinders must be kept at ½ of the maximum operating pressure;
    – cylinders must be kept away from heat sources and in a ventilated area;
    – cylinders must be kept upright and firmly secured so as not to fall.
    It is forbidden to introduce and use flammable gases inside the pits.
    Inside the other buildings it is forbidden to introduce any kind of compressed or liquefied gas (even if inert).

    21.4 LPG cylinders used for cooking

    If the use of LPG gas is foreseen, at least 10 days before the beginning of the event the Organizer must send the Technical Office Manager of Santa Monica S.p.A. a plan indicating the location of the LPG cylinders and their capacity.
    All temporary gas distribution systems must be built in accordance with the regulations and certified by a qualified installer, unless these systems are integrated in the means of transport and approved together with the means of transport (in this case it is necessary to show the relevant certification).
    Users of appliances fuelled by gas and LPG cylinders must comply with the indications of Ministerial Note 3794 dated 12/03/2014, and in particular:
    For the preparation of food, appliances with the CE marking must be used.
    Each installation shall be equipped with at least two portable fire extinguishers with an extinguishing capacity of not less than 34A 144BC.

    Without prejudice to the obligations of Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Consolidated Law on Occupational Safety), all workers, whether employees or not, must be informed and trained on the specific risks of the activity.
    The personnel involved in the installation and replacement of the cylinders must have proven skills and be in possession of a specific training certificate.
    It shall be prohibited to possess, within the individual installation, quantities of LPG in excess of 75 kg
    The use of refilled or otherwise filled cylinders outside authorised establishments is prohibited.
    Cylinders not connected to the installations, even if empty, must not be kept in storage in the area dedicated to the event.
    Cylinders must be installed in a place protected from the sun, tampering or accidental impact.
    Cylinders should be placed in such a way that they are not in contact with the public.
    Cylinders shall be in a vertical position and shall not be tilted or turned upside down.
    The supporting surface of the cylinders must be made of compact and non-combustible material
    LPG hoses should be checked periodically according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and not feature any cracks, cuts
    or other signs of deterioration or damage to the fittings.
    Hoses shall be replaced in the event of any defect and, in any case, before the expiry date.
    LPG fuelled consumer equipment shall be subject to scheduled periodic maintenance in accordance with the
    manufacturer’s instructions.

    22. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS

    All temporary electrical installations (consisting of panels, cables, sockets, lighting fixtures, etc.) inside the stands are the responsibility of the stand builder, who must carry them out “in a workmanlike manner” in compliance with the regulations in force.
    After the systems have been installed on the stands, the Organizer shall be required to submit to Santa Monica the “Declaration of Conformity of the Electrical System to the State of the Art”, certifying that the systems themselves comply with the state of the art; a copy of the declaration must be kept at the stand.
    All the components of the electrical system must comply with the CEI reference standards and have the IMQ quality mark or equivalent for foreign countries.
    To make power connections:
    • prepare the power cables in such a way that they cannot be damaged (cuts, abrasions, contact with solvents…) and that they do not hinder the passage of other people;
    • doing jobs, unless authorized, on electrical components or on the Circuit system is forbidden;
    • making makeshift power connections is forbidden.

    23. WATER SYSTEMS

    The equipment owned by the fitter to be connected to the water supply of the circuit must be fully functional so as not to cause inconvenience during the event.
    The Organizer is responsible for any damage that may result from equipment malfunctions.

    24. INFLATABLE STRUCTURES

    24.1 General rules

    It is forbidden to expose in the covered and uncovered areas balloons and inflatable structures or similar without CE marking. Such equipment must comply with the UNI 10316/94 standard.
    The constituent material must be certified in a class not exceeding fire reaction class 2.

    24.2 Inflatable games

    Inflatable structures must be CE marked and have a label that clearly and indelibly indicates the following information:
    • number and date of the European standard

    The installation and management of inflatable structures must be carried out according to precise technical regulations and on the basis of the indications provided by the supplier/manufacturer.
    It is advisable, after installation, to check the safety of the equipment by carrying out all the tests required by the standard, and to draw up a specific test report containing all the results of the performed tests.
    An essential aspect is anchoring to the ground (see rule UNI EN 14960 as reference). In addition, in case of adverse weather conditions and if the wind exceeds the speed of 38 km/h, they must be deflated. A further requirement in this regard is provided by art. 9 of the TULPS, which requires the operator of the travelling show to keep an anemometer near the attraction to measure the wind speed and to be able to promptly deflate the attraction in case of danger. In addition, inflatable structures installed outdoors must be located in a suitable area, at ground level, not exposed to natural hazards and at a suitable distance from transit routes and other dangerous structures/equipment. During installation and assembly, all assembly and operating instructions of the manufacturer/supplier must be observed.
    In the vicinity of the equipment, soft mats must be installed to prevent children from accidentally falling out of the structure. The blower drive motor must be protected from voluntary and/or accidental contacts that could cause accidents or breakage of the casing.

    25. SUPPLY OF FOOD AND DRINK

    All Operators who wish to organise a service for the administration of food or beverages, including production if necessary, must present the Certified Signalling of Start of Activity (SCIA), pursuant to art. 10 of the Emilia Romagna Regional Law No. 14 of 26/07/2003, at the portal SUAP – impresainungiorno – Comune di Misano Adriatico. Exemptions are granted for completely free catering activities exclusively for guests in the areas managed by the Operator. The respect of the hygienic-sanitary rules is obviously obligatory.

    26. WASTES AND RUNOFF

    Inside the racetrack there are 6 ecological areas, as well as bins for separate collection. It is forbidden to leave any kind of waste, during the setting up, exhibition and disassembly phases, outside the containers present in the areas. Avoid placing waste in transit areas, outside designated areas, etc., as this may cause damage to the environment. The resulting materials generated for the preparation and disassembly of the areas must be disposed of by and at the expense of the Operator or the Installer. Special waste such as tires, batteries, carpets and plastics must be disposed of at the Operator’s expense. Used oils must be deposited in the appropriate containers positioned in different points inside the circuit. In the event of accidental spillage of flammable liquids, oils or substances that may make the floor slippery, the person responsible must promptly remove and clean it.

    It is strictly forbidden to:
    • dispose of the following in the sewerage system: corrosive water for metals and cement, colours of any kind, oily substances, smelly substances, etc.;
    • dispose of all types of chemical and organic substances in the external rainwater collection wells. Oils and fats must be collected and disposed of separately.

    27. PROVISIONS IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY

    For the first intervention, in case of fire, the Circuit is equipped with its own fire-fighting team and adequate fire-fighting systems (fire extinguishers, hydrants, etc.). Therefore, when a hazardous situation arises, nearby people and the employees of the Circuit must be immediately informed, or else the number +39 0541 618568 (guardianship of the Circuit) must be called, describing in detail the current situation, the place of the event and the number of people involved. In the event of a fire, in addition to alerting the staff in the manner described above, always remain calm and follow the instructions of the relevant personnel. If an evacuation order is given, avoid running or screaming, and head to the nearest marked emergency exits. In case of weather alert, as soon as the information is received, Santa Monica S.p.A. reserves the right to immediately inform the participants of the event, or the organiser of the event, in order to make it possible to adopt appropriate protective measures.

    28. ANTI-SMOKING LEGISLATION

    According to the Law No. 3 dated 16 January 2003 and Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Consolidated Act on Safety), smoking inside closed rooms, inside the pits, and near flammable materials is strictly forbidden.

    29. REMOTE-CONTROLLED AIRCRAFT (DRONES)

    Santa Monica S.p.A. may allow, at its sole discretion, the use of Remote-Controlled Aircraft Systems (SAPR) for any purpose (sports, recreation, video, etc..) provided that the requirements of the ENAC Regulation “Remote-Controlled Aircraft”, current edition, are fully satisfied.
    In particular, the pilot must be in possession of an APR “Pilot’s Certificate” or “Pilot’s License” issued by ENAC directly or through authorised entities.
    In any case the permission to use of this devices must be made in accordance with the Circuit Management.
    It should be noted that the only operating mode of flight granted is in Visual Line of Sight (VLOS): “operations conducted within a distance, both horizontal and vertical, such that the remote pilot is able to maintain continuous visual contact with the aircraft, without the help of tools to increase the view, such as to allow him direct control of the vehicle to manage the flight, maintain the separations and avoid collisions.

    30. SURVEILLANCE

    Anyone working inside the Circuit shall be obliged to report to the service staff of Santa Monica S.p.A. any situations that could cause a risk for the safety or health of people. Santa Monica S.p.A. has set up a surveillance service in order to verify, during the events, compliance with these regulations and accident prevention regulations in force. The security service, made up of specially trained personnel, may act directly, through inspections, control of documentation, etc., and may impose any measure deemed useful for the safety of persons. The security service is intended as a measure of prevention and cooperation on the part of Santa Monica S.p.A., and obviously cannot involve the direct responsibility of Santa Monica S.p.A. for failure by the Organizer to comply with the law or other provisions in force.
    Santa Monica therefore disclaims all liability for any claims arising from failure to comply with the above prohibitions.

    31. CCTV SURVEILLANCE

    The Circuit has a video surveillance system.
    The use of the video surveillance system is deemed necessary for the following reasons:
    • protection of the assets of Santa Monica S.p.A.;
    • organizational and production requirements during the course of the activities;
    • safety at work, especially during assembly and disassembly of areas and equipment in general during the periods before and after the events;
    • security and public order at major events.

    The processing of data through video surveillance is done correctly, for specific and legitimate purposes under the current privacy regulations. Law no. 300/70 (Workers’ Statute) and subsequent amendments and integrations are also expressly complied with. Santa Monica S.p.A. undertakes to respect the principle of necessity of processing; therefore, unnecessary uses are excluded and excessive redundancies are avoided. The video surveillance system is in operation 24 hours a day and the recordings are kept for no more than 3 days, equivalent to a maximum of 72 hours, except for special needs for further conservation in relation to holidays, closures, socio-political events, adverse weather events, etc., as well as in the case of a specific request by the Judicial Authority or the Police. Any video recording of accidents on the track and/or anywhere else on the circuit will be produced, if still available, only at the request of the competent public security authorities. Any other request that does not comply with the above will not be accepted.

    The recorded images are not directly visible to third parties. The system containing the recordings is accessible only to authorised persons and is equipped with the minimum security measures provided by the current privacy law.
    As required by current legislation, appropriate information signs shall be affixed in a clearly visible position at the filming sites or in their immediate vicinity:
    • Area under video surveillance
    • The data collected will be used for security and access control reasons.
    • They will not be used for any other purpose.
