RED BULL SAN MARINO AND RIVIERA DI RIMINI GRAND PRIX: AN EXPLOSIVE SATURDAY AHEAD WITH THE SPRINT RACE AND NAMELESS FESTIVAL

Misano World Circuit > MotoGP > RED BULL SAN MARINO AND RIVIERA DI RIMINI GRAND PRIX: AN EXPLOSIVE SATURDAY AHEAD WITH THE SPRINT RACE AND NAMELESS FESTIVAL

Misano World Circuit, 12 September 2025 – An intense opening day at Misano World Circuit for the Red Bull San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, with riders taking to the track for free practice sessions. Tomorrow will continue with qualifying, two MotoE World Championship races, and the MotoGP Tissot Sprint Race.

It will also be a day full of events across the territory, with the many highlights of The Riders’ Land Experience program and the big Red Bull & Nameless party inside the circuit, opening its doors from 6:00 pm also to the general public (Misanino area).

HALL OF FAME PRESENTED AT TEATRO GALLI

A new Hall of Fame, a new design for the trophy, and three new MotoGP Legends: it was an evening rich in content yesterday at Teatro Galli in Rimini.

Dorna celebrated the champions who played a key role in the history of motorcycling, inducting into the Hall of Fame those who achieved the highest number of victories or became icons of their era and of MotoGP itself, starting with those no longer with us: Umberto Masetti, Geoff Duke, John Surtees, Mike Hailwood, Phil Read, and Barry Sheene.

It was then time to honor those who were able to attend the evening or sent messages for the ceremony: Giacomo Agostini, Kenny Roberts, Freddie Spencer, Eddie Lawson, Wayne Rainey, Kevin Schwantz, Mick Doohan, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo, and Valentino Rossi. Together, these authentic legends brought to the stage 23 MotoGP titles and over 300 victories.

During the celebration, the new Tower of Champions was unveiled, the iconic trophy engraved with the 76 names of world champions crowned to date.

The evening also thrilled the large audience gathered in Piazza Cavour for the Red Carpet.

FAN ZONE: MEET THE RIDERS, DJ SETS, AND SPORT’S AREA

Tomorrow will be packed with opportunities in the Fan Zone, located near Prato 1, accessible from 4:00 pm also to Tribune and Prato 2 ticket holders.

The Sport’s Area will open in the morning, with the DJ Set starting at 12:00 pm. In the afternoon, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, the stage will host riders Stefano Nepa and Luca Lunetta (SIC 58 Squadra Corse), Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing Team), Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team), Enea Bastianini (Red Bull KTM Tech3), Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team), and Luca Marini (Honda HRC Castrol), who will meet fans for photos and autographs.
